Back to School Store - Provides much needed school supplies for students K-12 whose parents can not afford to purchase the items:

Items needed:   Spiral Notebooks, crayons, book bags, erasers, pencils, pens, bottles of glue, scissors, folders, loose leaf paper, highlighters, tissues and rulers.    A donation of $10.00 will provide all the items listed to one student.




Food Pantry -  Food is provided keeping a "Balanced Diet" in mind.  

Items needed:  Cans of  Sweet Peas, Green Beans, Corn, Applesauce, Potatoes, Fruit, Spaghetti Sauce, Spaghetti Noodles, Macaroni & Cheese, Cereal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Pork -n- Beans, Flour,  Bags of Dry Beans, Handsoap, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Shampoo and Deodorant.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets are also an outreach of our Food Pantry.



Christmas Store - ​ Volunteers spend several months preparing to provide toys, clothing and other items for children at Christmas.   New Toys, socks, underwear, gloves and toboggans   ​   are needed for this program or a donation of $20.00 per child will allow us to purchase the necessary items.





Home Repair Opportunities are available for youth/adult groups to experience "hands-on" discipleship by repairing homes for the less fortunate in our area.   Some tasks completed by work teams are:  Wheelchair ramps, making their bathrooms handicapped accessible,  new porches, new windows, painting, floor repairs and much more.

Items needed:  Hammers, paint brushes and rollers, nail bars, any size nails, wood and drywall screws, work gloves, shovels, power and battery drills, circular saws or any type saw,   Tape measures,  handicapped sinks and commodes.   Any type tool is appreciated!!


If your church or civic group would like to experience a week helping those who are less fortunate give us a call.



Emergency Assistance  is also provided to help with non-narcotic medications, rent and utility assistance when funds are available.    We also have a supply of blankets, sheets, pots/pans, dishes and other household items, appliances and furniture on hand for folks whose need them.

 

Donations of household items and furniture are always appreciated.
